   Mr. Monastra is a native Clevelander. Born July 4, 1953, he graduated from Chanel High School in Bedford, Ohio in 1971. Mr. Monastra then went on and obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law in 1981. 

   While Mr. Monastra is more than capable of practicing a variety of areas of the law, he has been practicing all aspects of Family Law since since he became admitted to the practice in1981.

    Mr. Monastra is a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML OHIO) of which he also became Certified as a Family Law Mediator/Aribtrator.

   Mr. Monastra has been selected as a "Super Family Law Lawyer" for the years 2004-2009 from the Cincinnati, Ohio monthly publication known as "Law and Politics." 

   Mr. Monastra practices Family Law, and other areas of the law, in Cuyahoga County, Ohio and contiguous counties.  

   Mr. Monastra was a former trustee of the Cuyahoga County Bar Association, Family Law Section. He is also a member of the Ohio State Bar Association.
